We rent a variety of kayaks and canoes for self-guided trips on the Red Deer River and surrounding area. Our rental office is located right along the Red Deer River. Equipment and instruction necessary on how to safely transport your rental equipment to the launch point of your choice is available. Shuttle service to launch and pick up sites is also available.

Canoe Rental: Canoes are a great choice for two paddlers for longer trips and on larger bodies of water. Stable, easy to use and loads of room for your stuff or for an extra passenger. Our canoes range from 15.5 - 17 foot canoes, Oldtown and colman style canoes. Durable yet flexible they are able to handle shoals and ripples but stable enough to handle rougher water. They will carry lots of weight. Rental includes paddle, PFD, and all required safety equipment.

Single Kayak Rental: Single sit-in kayaks are a great choice for a recreational paddle on the Red Deer River. Our single kayaks range from 10’ to 13’ models to accommodate a wide range of paddler sizes and skills. Recreational kayaks are the most popular for paddlers from beginner to moderate skill level and are very stable and easy to transport. Rentals include paddle, PFD, and all required safety equipment.

Double Kayak Rental: Booking may be limited when booking with shuttle. Double (tandem) kayaks are an alternative for 2 people that want to paddle together. They are a little more flexible than a canoe and ride higher in the water so can more easily avoid obstacles. The Perception Cove is a double kayak (14’6”) that features a pair of ergonomic and comfortable seats with thigh padding and multiple adjustment options for both paddlers. It includes a movable bow seat that adjusts to an extra passenger or even for solo paddling. Rental includes paddle, PFD, and all required safety equipment.

E-Bike Rentals: Ages 12 and up solo/kids and tots ride along! Red Deer River Adventure's and Drumheller E-Bikes have teamed up to offer a fun new way to explore the valley! Rent one of our Electric Assist Bikes and peddle or coast up and down the valley on our park trail system! ride at leisure or fly at 30 km/hr on our fat tire bikes and see everything in and around town! Add a trailer for the kids if they are under the age of 12 (limited to 2 bikes with trailers).
