How should I dress?
Appropriate dress for kayaking or canoeing is important to ensure that you fully enjoy your experience. It really depends on the time of year and weather so check our website for more details. One thing to remember is that you will likely get wet, especially your feet, so make sure to prepare for this.

For bike rides and hikes we recommend athletic clothing and a sturdy shoe for best comfort. Hiking footwear recommended for hikes but not necessary if you have a good shoe or boot.

Appropriate dress for snowshoeing is important to ensure comfort in the winter months. Dress in parka and snowpants as well as a sturdy winter boot to allow for support with the snow shoes. Shoes and hiking boots not recommended especially because snowshoe straps will not close tight enough around small footware.

Do I need to have experience?
Our tours include basic instruction for novices so the experience will be enjoyable no matter what your level of experience.

Some swimming capability and being able to exit a pool without a ladder recommended for kayaking and canoeing in the summer.
